Hi Everyone,
We are migrating Qlik Sense to a new server, which will have a different server name, domain name, and a new service account. We only have a central node.
I have reviewed Qlik help and forum, but there appears to be no recommended procedure for this type of migration.
We are thinking this:
1. Create a new local admin account on current the server, give this rootadmin access to QMC - Changing Qlik Sense Server Domain - Page 3 - Qlik Community
2. Create replica account on the new domain for Qlik Services etc
3. Backup certificate current server - Backing up certificates | Qlik Sense on Windows Help
4. Backup Qlik sense current server - Backing up a Qlik Sense site | Qlik Sense on Windows Help
5. Install same Qlik sense version on new server
6. Restore certificate new server - Restoring certificates | Qlik Sense on Windows Help
7. Restore Qlik Sense new server - Backing up a Qlik Sense site | Qlik Sense on Windows Help
8. Follow - Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows: Change hostname ... - Qlik Community - 1713945
8.1. Correcting Share paths if it is shared on the Central Node:
8.2. Repository Database consideration
Could anyone provide any feedback on these steps?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
