Security Rule to Compare two custom properties with match (or like)

Hi,

within security rules you can use "like" to evaluate the rule.

Example

user.group like "*text*"

Like works great with a hard coded text.

But is it somehow possible to use it with custom properties?

What I want to do is: Grant every user access if the custom propery is part of the user.group.

E.g. Custom Property = "Finance" and user.group = "CompanyName_Finance_Europe"

Something like this:

user.group like *resource.@CustomProperty* 

I was not able to find any documentation or solution for this, so I am afraid this is not possible?

Hey there,
As far as I know, no, it's not possible. I asked "recently" something similar (QSEoW - Security rules - Use of matches/like with ... - Qlik Community - 2539293) and I ended up with no solution
