Alternate States has been a feature of QlikView for a number of years now, allowing the comparison of more than one selection set in a single app, or even on a single chart.
This functionality has just appeared on Qlik Sense Cloud, which is usually a good indication that it will be appearing in the general releases of Sense relatively soon.

Note that at the time of writing the app must be imported into Qlik Cloud in order to function correctly. Some alternate state functionality is there in September 2018, but the selections bar and the UI for setting states is not present.
