Session Timeout - Options for displaying dashboards 24/7

Hello Community,

we have a couple of use cases where we would like to display specific dashboards 24/7 on a screen. Unfortunately, the current Session Timeout does not make it possible to fulfil this requirement. As I read in other threads in the forum it is not possible to change the Timeout settings at the moment - we are using Qlik Sense Enterprise. Displaying the KPI's through NPrinting is not an option as the app would need to be refreshed every five minutes. 

Is anyone facing the same problem and has an idea or a workaround to solve it?

Hi,

There is a workarround: via the 'DEV Hub' or the app itself, create a 'single configuration link'

Open the link in chrome browser. Download chrome browser extention 'Revolver Tabs' (only available in chrome, not in edge (at this moment), here you can automaticly 'revolve' true the tabs. In the options you can select 'reload', to force a page reload. Even if you have only one tab, the revolver extension does it magic 🙂 

We have it running 24/7 on multiple screens, the beautifull thing is that we also can maintain the Qlik app centrally, after publising the change is visiable right away.
