Understanding Consumable Allocation Across Multiple Qlik Cloud Tenants

Hello everyone,

Certain Qlik Cloud Analytics licenses allow you to operate several tenants. For example, up to 5 tenants for a Qlik Cloud Analytics Premium license, or up to 30 for a Qlik Cloud Analytics Enterprise license.

When working with multiple tenants, it's important to understand that your licensed consumables are global and shared across all tenants, including:

• Data capacity
• Third-party automation runs
• Reports generated
• Assistant questions asked (Qlik Answers, MCP)
• Qlik Predict deployed models

For example:

• License allows consumption of 50 GB of Data for Analysis
• Tenant A consumes 23 GB
• Tenant B consumes 22 GB

Your total consumption is 45 GB, aggregated across both tenants — the same logic applies to automation runs, reports, or assistant questions: usage across all tenants is added together against a single, shared limit.

It's essential to monitor overall usage across all these consumables to avoid exceeding your licensed capacity, regardless of which tenant the consumption occurs in.

Note : not all capacities are pooled. Large application capacity, for example, is allocated on a per-tenant basis and does not aggregate across the license.
