Migrate QlikView to Qlik Cloud

I would like to migrate QlikView to Qlik Cloud. I was reading about the Qlik Analytics Migration Tool. Has anyone already gone through this process? Is this tool effective, or would it be better to rebuild everything from scratch? If you have used it, what should I take into account before using it?

I started the migration project from sense enterprise to cloud two years ago.

The introduction of the migration tool is very useful! 

It helps you out migrating all the objects (including private sheets) and mainting the ownerships. 

It automatize a lot of steps like export and new import and you can also try to change the data connections (for this last point I didn't try).

My suggestion is definitely to have a look at the instrument, the install and configuration is really simple and the value is really high!

Federico, thank you very much for your response. I will review the installation and configuration as you mentioned. We have several applications, and having something that streamlines the transition would be very helpful.

@Jose_Astorga the migration from QlikView to QlikCloud is neither easy or simple, however it should be done, while we will maintain QV for years to come, I don't anticipate any new features or enhancements being made to it.
