Hi, I have a question about app migration from Qlik Sense on-premise to Qlik Cloud.
Currently, we’re using the distribution option — the apps are distributed to a managed space in Qlik Cloud, then we reload the data using a binary load and publish them from the personal space to a shared space.
However, this process causes the apps to be duplicated in Qlik Cloud, which increases storage usage.
We’re closing to reaching the storage limit, what is the recommended approach to optimize storage and avoid duplication when migrating and publishing apps to Qlik Cloud?
Why you are not migrating all the extractors and dashboards both on cloud & build same architecture on cloud which you have on Prem.

Hi @rubendario1 , the cloud distribution is meant only for apps that are meant to be reloaded on premise but consumed in the cloud without having the possibility of editing them there.
So, it's not clear me what the purpose would be in having a copy in a shared space, which is meant as "development" space. You also won't be able to reload the app there, because the connections will be broken.
As @PrashantSangle suggested, it's probably a better idea to move to a fully-cloud scenario. We have reached a maturity where you can load data from basically almost every source that is available in Qlik Sense Enterprise for Windows.
