Performance impact of Qlikview application if we publish in qlik cloud

Hi Everyone,

Am just thinking to publish qlikview application to qlik cloud using the publish option in qmc, but that application is heavy and currently have some performance issues in the qlikview accesspoint, if i publish the application in qlik cloud, will it worsen it further, or will it be better in qlik cloud.

There are some limitations (storage size, memory, memory for object, capacity) for Qlik Sense apps in the cloud. I assume they are also valid for QlikView. You can find some useful information here.

In the (few) test I did comparing the performance of apps (both Qlik Sense and QlikView) between local and cloud servers, the response was better on the cloud; it certainly depends on the app (see link above) and especially on the server you currently use.

Hi @GOKULAKANNAN ,

please make sure that you are aware about the unsupported functionalities concerning QlikView in the cloud: https://help.qlik.com/en-US/cloud-services/Subsystems/Hub/Content/Sense_Hub/QlikViewInCloud/using-QV...

As @maxgro said, the app might actually perform better on Qlik Cloud.
Please note that a big app might require a large app space.
