Qlik Cloud – Automatically retrieving ADFS (SAML) metadata via URL

Hi everyone,

In Qlik Cloud, when configuring a SAML identity provider (in our case ADFS), we currently have to manually upload the XML metadata file.

However, on the ADFS side there’s a federation metadata URL which continuously exposes the metadata (including signing certificates, endpoints, etc.).

Being able to configure the IdP with the URL instead of a static file would help avoid:
– manual intervention every time certificates are renewed,
– potential downtime if the XML is not updated in Qlik Cloud in time.

My question:
Does Qlik Cloud natively support configuring a SAML IdP using a metadata URL (similar to what we can do in Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows)?
