Hello,
In Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows, it is indeed possible to restrict access to applications through custom properties, which ensures that users do not see apps they do not have permission to access in the hub, even if they can view the streams these apps are in. In other words, if a user lacks the necessary rights, the application simply does not appear in their hub.
Conversely, on Qlik Cloud, I have not found any option that allows you to hide an application from a user without completely removing them from the space. This is unfortunate, as in my client's case, several applications coexist within the "Commerce" space, but some users should only have access to certain ones. The visibility of inaccessible apps leads to confusion and questions such as "why isn't this working?" among users.
I would therefore like to confirm whether there is already a solution, workaround, or setting to limit application visibility per user in Qlik Cloud—other than using section access, which only limits access to the application but does not hide it from the catalog. If this feature is not currently available, could you please confirm whether such functionality is planned in future versions?
Thank you in advance for your feedback.
Enjoy your Qlik.
Kind regards,
Théo ATRAGIE.
Have you explore "share" option. This is design for solving this purpose only.

Hello,
Thank you for sharing this information. It still seems less convenient than custom properties. Do you know if these are planned in the roadmap?
Enjoy your Qlik.

Agreed. Last time I submit idea for this feature, but they rejected it by saying that you can manage it with Share property.
