Qliksense to Qlik Cloud

Hi Qlik Folks,

I have few questions related to Qlik cloud migration. Please clarify the below ones.

1.I heard that there are two ways to do the migration one is with Qlik CLI and the other is with Qlik Analytics migration. Which one is best suitable and how to choose them ?

2.How qvd's, connections etc.. Will be migrated to cloud from on-prem ?

Qlik Analytics Migration Tool was introduced recently I guess in May 2025 but before this what are the options or other tools which are available to migrate the apps from on-prem to Qlik cloud.

One more thing ,Can Qlik CLI will do the Qliksense to Qlik Cloud migration ?

Hi,

Before Qlik Analytics Migration Tool, there were no toosl from Qlik. Just 3rd party solutions like Qloud Cover.

Or the use of CLI, but with the CLI approach you will not get all the functionality that you get from the Qlik Analytics Migration Tool.

Haven't used it yet but we have used Cloud Migration Toolkit for migration and this works very well 🙂
