I have a stacked graph of a race where each "stack" is the sum of individual lap times.
Right now every lap time for every participant is a different color.
There is no clear way to visually see that someone's Lap 1 is faster/slower then the rest of the participants.
I would like to associate a color for each lap
Lap 1 = red
Lap 2 = Yellow
Lap 3 = Blue
as so on.
The result would be that every participant's "Lap 1" time would be shown as a red bar on the Stacked GRaph
How and where would I make this association?
thanks.
Drag the Lap dimension into the bar chart and choose to use it for the color.
Thanks but that makes the entire stacked column a single color.
Maybe its best to explain my data set.
I have a field called "Lap Count" with the values "Lap 1","Lap 2"," Lap 3", ...
My stacked graph is stacking the field "Lap Time".
I think I need to go into the the data tab for "Lap Time" and use a set expression that tells it to make Lap Time RED when Lap Count = Lap 1 on so on.
I think that is the correct way but I am new and even if this is correct, the syntax is eluding me.
thanks
Can you post a small Qlik Sense app that illustrates the problem?
