Auto zoom doesn't work with master measure

We have a filter on our map to select between 2 measures.  One measure has a few states and the second has a count for only one state.  If the expression is manually entered in the map it will autozoom to the one state.  When we create a master measure, the autozoom doesn't happen.  Is there a bug with maps and master measures ?

Doesn't work.  I copied the sheet (which should copy all the map settings), changed the label and color expression to a master measure.  The map stops auto-zoom even if its enabled.
