Automate Date Logic

Hi, 

I have 2 KPI's whereby each month, I have to update hard coded values. What would be great is to automate these, any idea how I can amend my code please to show previous months data? 

Sum({<Week = {"=MonthName(Week) = MonthName('01/12/2019')"}>}[Total Cost])
