Hello everyone,
I would like to change the font and font size of input box on Qlik Sense.
Is there a way to do it? Because I am not sure whether it's possible in Qlik Sense.
Thank you!
Hello,
If my understanding is correct, you would like to modify additional styling options for Variable input object. To quickly answer your question, this is currently not supported natively and you can submit a feature request [1] if you would like to have it natively possible.
To elaborated further in my response, you can modify title, subTitle and footer of the object by using custom themes "Custom theme JSON properties" [2], however changing the input box's style seems to be unsupported. Additionally, you can see in the same official documentation [2], that Variable input object is not part of the list "Chart type", with all the charts that you can further customize. Therefore, using custom theme to resolve this issue is not possible.
If you open the Developers Console (F12 in Google Chrome) and find the element of the Variable input box on the UI, you can modify the styles manually such as font-size, color etc. as you can see from the image below:
However, even this use case scenario is not ideal as you will also have to take care of the entire input box that needs to fit the scaled text and take many other things into consideration.
To summarize, as mentioned above, this is not natively supported but you can submit a feature request [1].
I hope that this information was helpful!
