Data refresh in Qlik sense desktop version

If I share an app developed in Qlik sense desktop with someone, residing on an excel source and also share the source file with them, how would they refresh the data in this case? In case I had to refresh it, I would have re loaded the data, but how should the person using it do it?

Could someone please help me with this?

Not sure if this is possible with the desktop version. but you should use a direct path to the source file and not use the lib.

If you have shared the source also then the person need to create the same lib path you have in  your machine then need to reload the app.

Qlik Sense desktop is really not intended for this.  That being said if the other person has the same data connection created in their Desktop version and they can get to the excel file then they should be able to do a reload just like you can.

If the other person has same file then he can create the data connection and he should be able to reload or refresh the data from Qlik Sense Desktop.
