Download file from Qlik Sense app

Hi allí,

I have a requirement to include some kind of link or button that downloads a PPT file in a Qlik Sense app.

Unfortunately, I am not allowed to install any extension, so I will need an out of the box solution.

Do you know if It is possible?

You don't need an extension just to have a link to an externally hosted Powerpoint file in a Qlik Sense application.

One method could be this:

If you have the permission to put the Powerpoint file in a content library for Qlik Sense you don't need to host the file externally and the same link method will work in the application as long as you provide the correct URL to the Powerpoint file.

What do you need exactly? this PPT is a report from the Dashboard? or is another one? if is another one you can add a link in a text object, if is a report, you must to create a history first.

I have tried to do that. However,
when I use URL as:
1. content/xyz/...., I get "404 - File or directory not found"

2. <servername>/content/xyz/...., I get "<servername> didn't send any data"
