I have the following data set :
Data 1 | ||
Customer ID | Customer Feature | Desc |
C1 | A1 | ABCD |
C1 | A2 | EFGH |
C1 | A3 | IJKL |
C1 | A4 | MNOP |
C2 | A4 | MNOP |
C2 | A3 | IJKL |
C2 | A1 | ABCD |
C2 | A2 | EFGH |
C2 | B3 | uvwx |
C3 | A1 | ABCD |
C3 | B3 | uvwx |
C3 | B2 | xyza |
C3 | A4 | MNOP |
C3 | A3 | IJKL |
C4 | A2 | EFGH |
Data 2
Customer ID1 | Customer ID2 | Similar |
C1 | C2 | 100 |
C1 | C3 | 99 |
C1 | C4 | 44 |
C2 | C1 | 33 |
Presently, I am showing top similar customers based on similar # using sankey chart.
My Problem is I also want to show top customer features making the customers look similar.
for Example if user selects C1 in the sankey chart, it will show B1,B2 AND B3 as identical customers
and the features gets updated in the bar chart for with frequency of features C1.
but when the user selects B1, the frequency of features should get updated with both C1 and B1.
The expected output is
If Customer ID selected is C1, Identical customers are C2, C3, C4 as per data 2.
Count of Features should be :
ABCD | 3 |
EFGH | 3 |
IJKL | 3 |
MNOP | 3 |
uvwx | 2 |
xyza | 1 |
but when customer selects customer ID2 as C4, count should change to
ABCD | 1 |
EFGH | 2 |
IJKL | 1 |
MNOP | 1 |
I am presently trying to show this on Bar Chart , but any other suggestion is welcomed.
Thank you.
Hi,
What you need is to expand the second table:
Customer ID1 | Customer ID2 | Similar |
C1 | C2 | 100 |
C1 | C3 | 99 |
C1 | C4 | 44 |
C4 | C4 | ? |
C2 | C1 | 33 |
With this expansion, both the C1 and C4 from Customer ID1 are selected.

How should i expand the table? Could please explain with an example ?
