Filter pane dimension value

Hi

I have scenario where I have 2 filter panes  

1. States listed Filter pane. (Dimension) 
2. Cities listed  Filter Pane (Dimension)

State selection will be passed through query string.

• Cities should display based on state selection passed in query string 
• Grayed out cities should not be displayed in Cities filter pane. - I could able to achieve this using this Aggr(Cities,Cities)
• All Cities should be displayed even if any selection made in cities Filter Pane (It should be shown all values irrespective of selection made in cities)

What do you mean by state selection passed in query string?

is it an integration being done on Single configurator API or App Integration API.
