Qlik Sense uses a responsive layout to display data in the best way to be visualised in the space allowed. In this case you have many data points over multiple years with probably continuous data selected hence your chart displaying how it is.
As an aside can you mark solutions to your issues as correct when found or like answers that are useful so other users can benefit in future.
