I am receiving a LOT of SPAM in my email - Qlik Community

I follow some spaces in this community and since about two weeks ago I am receiving a LOT of SPAM messages in my mailbox. Today only I received more than 1000. But apparently the messages are being moderated out from the community threads.

The spaces I'm getting more messages are from [New to Qlik Sense] and [Resource Library]. The messages seem to be from some korean sites...

A quick search didn't show anyone else complaining about it.... Am I the only one??

Could you sli‌, ahw and others PLEEEAAASE find a way to stop it??? I'd really not like to unfollow the spaces...

I'm so sorry about this. We have been battling spammers. These guys are terrible and we are always trying to find ways to shut them out. The only REAL way to completely stop them is to require moderation for ALL posts which doesn't actually work for a community of our size. Unfortunately they target many big communities. We are looking at more possible solutions next week.

We understand completely if you need to opt out of communications for the next week or two until we sort it out. If you go to your profile drop down and select Preferences you can update your email subscriptions.

I will keep you posted and let me know if I can do more to assist.

Until there are effective measures implemented to shut the spammers out I suggest you changed you message-options and follows rather people instead of community-areas, for example some of the top contributors from the community - btw. I believe in this way you will see more interesting postings as by following the areas which normally even without spam produce more content as you could follow.

Following some Qlikview MVP posts is a beautiful point. I have been following many people since many months like you, Gysbert,Sweuhl,Jagan,Rob,Maxdreamer,Asifq,. and some other folks like Sunny,Sasi,Kush. I learnt a lot from them.
