Hi
while running below command why I am getting different ip, what are all those Ips
Hi, when you use tracert it lists all the different server redirects until you get to your final destination. the communications doesn't go directly to the destintaion at first, you computer might go to the proxy on your company, it can be redirected to other server inside the company, then go the the server of your communications provider, then to another server of the internet, step by step until it reaches the final destination.
Hi Rubermarin
Thanks for response, but I want to confirm if those ips are verified with qlik? how do we clarify to customers about these ips ?
Hi, those ips aren't related to Qlik, those are more related to your internet provider and the network configuration of your company/region/country.
Okay.
How would I confirm that I reached to destination because last line after running command from cmd it is showing trace complete and one line before it is showing request time out.
How can confirm that this license.qlikcloud.com is reaching from qlik server?
Hi, those rows with request timed out are usually servers configured to not answer to ping commands for security reasons.
To check that the server reaches license.qlikcloud.com you can use the browser and access to https://license.qlikcloud.com/, if you reach the page it will only show a blank page with the text "default backend - 404". If the server don't reach the page you will see the error page of your browser.
Yes. I have checked for "default backend - 404" in browser and it is showing the same for me.
But then I checked license log file it is showing me below error :
{"caller":"sync.go:125","error":"Patch \"https://license.qlikcloud.com/v1/assignments\": Proxy Authentication Required",
"level":"error","license":"1234 567 xxxxxxxxx",
"logTraceId":"05b8b3b00c6fe8e50948c3fe8ed7a116",
"message":"failed to re-sync","timestamp":"2023-04-03T00:00:02.7098347Z"}
Hi, it looks like there is a proxy, additional configurations might be needed in that case: https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense-admin/February2023/Subsystems/DeployAdministerQSE/Content/Sense_De...
In this article the steps to test connection: https://community.qlik.com/t5/Official-Support-Articles/Qlik-Sense-with-a-Proxy-How-to-test-access-t...
Great.
I can see the proxy added to .config file but in internet option this option is checked.
So do I need to uncheck it and checked 3rd box and put the same ip and port used in config file ?
Hi, I don't know too much about network configuration, so I would try to test and if doesn't works revert to this configuration.
In case it fails be sure to follow all points of the previous links to avoid a misjudgement of what is failing.
