How is the range slider in a line chart (x-axis) moved to max value (latest) as default.
OK, I submitted this as a new feature request. I think it is a fantastic idea:
Here are the specs I suggested:
Feature: Default starting position for the moveable range selector window on bar and line charts.
Description: As a user I want to be able to see all of my data in the line chart (dates) – but by default when entering my dashboard – I want a defined range to be viewable by default.
Location: Property Panel
Section: Add on
Chart: Line / Bar

Hi Urban - that is a good request for a feature enhancement. Currently it starts in the beginning. From what I am hearing, you would like to be able to set the range of the window on the bottom to a default starting position correct?
As in:
It is possible to sort date dimension to be descending, which will put the range slider at the latest points on your line chart, but that may not be ideal.
Let me ask around and see if there is a work-around.
Mike

Fine.
Yes in a time chart I guess the most common setting is to see the latest data as default.
