Moderator

Hi all,

I am really frustrated with the moderators.

If i put a discussion or answered a question in morning its only approved in the evening.

i dont know why this happening.

Thank you for reaching out to us. We value your participation in the Qlik Community.

In order to keep spam out of the community, we have set certain conditions that send posts to moderation for approval before they can be seen by others.


We have a small but dedicated team of moderators who strive to approve posts in a timely  manner. However, approval rates will vary depending on several factors: the time of day, the time zone you are in, the day of the week, and current activity level within the community. Over time, as you participate more, your posts will start to be visible without needing approval first.

Hi Jeremy,

I saw you refer to this thread from another.

The threshold for this seems particularly high. I am still having to wait for my replies and questions to be moderated even though I have been an (admittedly often inactive) member for nearly 5 years. Is that to be expected? I have to admit I'm close to finding this a barrier to getting more involved, and if I were new to the community I expect this would have put me off by now.

Thanks for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that the approval process is discouraging you from participating more.

We are taking this under consideration as we re-evaluate our spam fighting measures. We are looking into ways we can reduce the moderation burden on our long-time users without making us more vulnerable to spam attacks. I am optimistic that we will find a way to improve the process.
