Ability to freeze chart?

Hello all.

I have  created  a line chart. X-axis is about master calendar date and y-axis is a sum.

Due to poor date data  entrance (which also I'm asked to show so, so i'm not allowed to manage them), the line chart is very suffocated and I only need to focus on some years, or start scrolling from some years and forward, or like freeze the chart.

Is something like that possible?

Hi Ioan,

Yes, you can do this by using set analysis in your Sum(). For instance, you sum Sales, but you don't want the year to interfere. Then you can try this:

Sum({1< Year =>}Sales)

But I need to refer the year range I want to show, right?

Yup it worked! Thanks! Do you maybe know if it's possible to still scroll in the chart but with this year selection to be the first thing someone sees?

Yes that is also possible, for this you can create a standard bookmark. Check this video for the explanation.
