Hi @NicholeBolivar1 ,

An "ad-hoc" what? I think you need to be a bit more specific in what you trying to achieve so that we can help. You mentioned extensions so perhaps you mean an ad-hoc visualisation of a type that isn't in the default chart list? Extensions are really the best way of doing this and there are many tricks that can be used to manipulate the standard charts to do interesting things. You might also investigate widgets.
