I have recently updated my qlik sense to new version 3.0
but this is not opening up, i have tried several times, but not opening.
when i uninstall and install previous version , it works fine but when upgrade it , it shows as black(as attached)
There are some thread, I suggest you search this forums.
My problem based on multi part username (I don't know, whou suggested, that it can be a problem) - eg.: at John Doe account doesn't work, but at JohnDoe account it works fine.
If you're using a private computer with sysadmin rights, open a command line with administration privileges and write:
net user johndoe /add
then enter this account and install Qlik Sense 3.0
I think this is very lame
Did you kill the Qlik Sense Service Dispatcher process in the task manager?
When done, go to windows menu / Qlik Sense / Qlik sense desktop (not the one shortcut installed during setup) or go
and right-click "Run as an administrator".

Here's what I did: I have a multi-part Windows 10-account like "John Doe". Qlik Sense 3.0 doesn't start (it gives a blank screen). When I installed Qlik Sense from another Windows 10 account, on the same laptop, like "John", Qlik Sense worked immediately.
Oh, and what's more.. After I installed it through an account with one name ("John") it also works with the multi-part account ("John Doe").
And yes, I tried reinstalled QlikSense multiply times before and reinstalled the previous version (it worked) etc. Only after I installed it with the single-part account ("John") it worked.
(Never thought I would ever write about a single of multi-part accountname... ).
I had a similar problem. When I tried to open C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\Programs\Qlik\Sense\QlikSenseBrowser\QlikSenseBrowser.exe it did not work. I was able to open Qlik Sense 3.0 from C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Programs\Qlik\Sense\QlikSense.exe though. Does that work for you?
