Alternate Dimensions in Pivot or Simple Table

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to find a way to add alternative dimensions in a pivot table or a simple table, the same way we have in bar, line chart etc. What I am looking for is a dropdown list with all the dimensions in it. When I click on a particular dimension, the dimension part of the table must get replaced accordingly and the data should change as per the dimension applied. Please let me know how I can achieve this?

Best Regards,

Rony

Hi

You an achieve this now that the table chart has the show column if expression box.

Have a look at the this guide,

https://www.resultdata.com/qlikview-dynamic-straight-tables/

It is for QlikView, but the theory still works.

Hi Gysbert,

I added a master visualization table but I am not able to add it to the data set. Is there something else that needs to be done. Please explain.

Yes, buy the Custom Report+ version. Presets are a feature of the plus version.

Hi Ron

You can do an Adhoc report in Sense

This allows a user to add or remove columns as required

Have a look at this thread. It works with both the Table and Pivot table
