Alternative Dimension

Hi All,

This is regarding the behavior of alternative dimension in Qliksense Desktop and server.

I'm able to see the option to change the dimension in desktop right below the bar chart. In server i'm not able to see it but i can change it after clicking the exploration menu.

Is this how it behaves in server?

Yes in server it behaves little bit different from the Desktop version

Hi Vishnu,

You can build alternative dimension on Qlik Sense Desktop but when you import it into server you must build alternative dimension again like in desktop. Please check what version on the server.

Hi Vishnu,

Alternative Dimension option is added in Qlik sense 3.0. before versions its not there.

I think your desktop is qlik sense 3.0 and your qlik sense server not in updated version. Please verify it.
