Always One Selected Value

Hi, I need to create a Sense multi-language application.

In QlikView, it used to be done by checking Always One Selected Value in a field list.

Does anybody know how to do that in Sense?

Is there an extension to do that?

Thanks.

Hi.

Well, and how long it's going to be like that?

I have to consult with my team to see if we're gonna use it or not.

Also I have to try it.

Thanks for your fast answer.

Hi Liron.

The extension you have shown me, does not do the Always One Selected Value feature.

My intention is to have always a language filtered and allow users to change language anytime.

When I clear, the default value takes place. I can do that with a variable. If nothing is selected, show labels in Spanish, otherwise, English, French or whatever is selected.

If I do with the variable, every time the user clears filters, he will have to select language, it is sort of painful.

It is NOT definitely the Always One Selected Value as it works in QlikView.

That’s why I can’t check your answer as correct.

Thank you for your help.
