Application size

We had to migrate an application to production so we open the application without data then modify the load script to remove all the data.  When we open the console, the app shows 0.1mb but when we export the file size is back to 900mb.

Are we missing a step?

I assume you SAVEed the load script after modification?

Are you multi-node setup?

Single-node.  When we did the load, the script was saved.  Hope it doesn't matter but I'll try a manual save

No, it shouldn't matter. I normally make a small modification to the load editor script (like adding a space) and then I do a manual save and it is done.

Did all that but the export continues to be the same 990mb size while the console shows 0.13mb

Does the app have any other dragged in content? Images etc.

About a dozen images - a little over 1mb total

We're 1 or 2 version behind. have to check with admins.

what i ended up doing was opening the qvf in the desktop and reloading.

App size went down to 40k

Does sound like a potential bug then. Admins should be able to open up a case with Qlik support for that.
