Apply selection based on alternate state selection

Hi,

I'm trying to figure out a way to apply a selection based on the selection applied on to another list box having different alternate state. I'm doing this because I would like to apply a selection on a dimension named "Name" based on the selection of another dimension called "Name2"

For example I have two listboxes with two different alternate states, one is "standard" having dimension Name, the other alternate state is named NO having Name2 as dimension.

How could I apply a selectionon to Name2 automaticly generating a selection on Name?

Are you saying that when you select in the alternate state Name2, it selects the same value in Name?

No, ill explain with some example data:

Name	Name1	Name2	Name3	Value
London	Europe	Uk	London	1
Germany	Europe	Germany	-	2
UK	Europe	Uk	-	3
Europe	Europe	-	-	8

Let's say I select from a filter box, having Name2 as a dimension and alternate state "NO", Germany.

I would like that Germany could be selected from Name (in another alternate state) at the same time.
