Authentication fails for Qlik sense desktop 3.2.2

Hello,

Could you please advise which server (uri) QSD uses for authentication?

I'm afraid that the link to Qlik auth server is blocked by firewall, so QSD can't authenticate...

Hi,

Make sure that you have the ports open on firewall and on server.

Below link will give you list of ports.

thanks. I don't think this is ports issue, rather host issue.

Example - https://www.qlikcloud.com/‌ host is blocked by ent. firewall.

If I knew the uri for auth server, I could quickly check if it is blocked or not.

If it is blocked, basically this means that QSD is not possible to run and this would be a complete show-stopper.

I have the same question... it is simply the URI to the hub if using AD authentication?

When i try using that I get a "you have no access pass" message, but I don't see any entries in the server logs.

Thanks!

Hello Kaushik and everyone.

The page refers to the Qlik Sense Ports. I think we need the ports that QSD uses to communicate with https://qlikid.qlik.com/cloud, or maybe that is the URL you need to get that URL whitelisted.

Thanks. URI  above (QlikID) is whitelisted.

But I still cannot authenticate the QSD in our environment. So, couple of possible reasons - either auth URI is different for QSD, or port is blocked.

Which port is used for auth server?
