Is there automation API for Qlik Sense Desktop?

We can automate any repetitive task in QlikView Desktop by VBScript, could it be done with Qlik Sense Desktop?

There is no API for QlikSense Desktop, please note that this is a free Desktop Version. QlikSense will offer more functions like API etc.
