Backup minus app data in QS

Hi,

Is it possible to backup just the app and not source data in QS as stored in app files?

As per my understanding, apps are complete file on its own, along with data. Source data gets loaded into a compressed / indexed format as part of the Qlik Sense app (.qvf file).

Create backup copy, open it without data and save.

When I open a duplicated application without data the "Save" button in the Data Load Editor view is grayed out, so I'm unable to save the application.

I'm using Qlik Sense April 2018

qliksenseserver: 12.16.2

Just make a change and undo it - for example press space nad backspace. Save button will be active again.
