Button for Navigation - Selecting a blank value

Hi.

Have a requirement for a 'blank' value to be selected from a field.

Using "select a value in a feild ' option.

I have tried all the usual suspects  eg '' 

 In other expressions or set analysis , the ''  characters work to select blanks.

Any way of doing this , or not possible in this extension.

You can use the "Filter Pane" for this. Data value of space can be used for blank. For instance:

Selecting blanks in all other chart types works ok.

Just when using the 'Navigation button' extension,  I cant select a blank when using a 'select  a value in a field ' function.

Any luck when trying this ?

Hi - just wondering if you ever found a solution to this? I'm trying to do a similar thing but with blanks in a Date field

Hi js12.  Unfortunately no , was not able to select blank as a value in a feild. ( This was not null , actually a selectable blank)

Thanks @Lobo77  - as a work around I ended up doing a select of all dates as one action and then followed by a select alternatives action which selected all of the blank fields.
