Can I apply separate filters for each sheet in a QlikSense app?

Is it possible to create an app with multiple sheets in Qlik Sense Business # where each sheet has its own set of filters that apply only to items on that sheet? I want to create an app with views across multiple sheets, each of which would show slightly different views of the data based on chosen parameters, and would much rather have this all in 1 app instead of separate apps for each set of conditions.

Thanks for any and all assistance!

Yes, you can do this easily using the Alternate States feature.

Place each sheet in a different Alternate State and then each sheet will operate independently.

Thanks. Is there a way to control so that Alternate States that I select for certain sheets show up with those sheets only? That is the main issue I have encountered with the Alternate States function.  For example, I have created 2 separate alternate states that have different values from the same field. In Qliksense, I have the ability to toggle between them in any sheet within the app, and not just in certain sheets where I have assigned a specific alternate state.

And when I navigate around Qliksense, it automatically uses the last alternate state I deployed for a certain sheet, not defaulting to the state I assigned for specific sheets.

Ultimately, I'm trying to find if there is a way to deploy an app with specific filters applied to each sheet in the app for ease of use in navigation by the end user. Yes, I understand that Qlik's approach is to apply a uniform filter across all views in an app, and have the user control what they want to filter. However, in this specific case, the users (senior managers) know the information and know what and how it should be set up, and don't want to have to worry about toggling filters on and off for values between sheets.

Selections in all alternate states will show up in the selections bar.  But that does not mean they have any effect on the contents of the sheet.   Is your issue that you want the current selections bar to only reflect states relevant to the current sheet?

Thank you, yes, that is ultimately this issue. Can this be done in Qliksense?

To my knowledge you cannot do this with native Qlik Sense. But you can with an add-on such as VizLib.

Could you set up alternate sheets with a series set of filters preset on a spare sheet and then bookmark this.

You set it up on the Qlik sheet level. Does not matter if the objects on the sheet are VizLib or Qlik.
