Can We Create Roles in QlikSense.

As of now we have Default roles as Content Admin, Audit Admin, Deployment Admin, Root Admin & Security Admin.

Can we create similar role as Developer(Who can created Apps) or Consumer(Have Read Only Access to the Apps).

Please Suggest.

Hi,

Yes you can.

You can use Securoty rule in the QMC and have rules assigned to roles.

There are two steps to it.

1. Create your own security rule.

2. Once you create the rule, then you need to add a condition at the bottom rule. Add a condition : Role equals  value <Anything>

Once you add the role, it will be visible under users.
