Can't import apps to the QMC Qlik Sense

Hi all,

We've facing a weird issue when trying to import an app to the qmc. It never fails, just stay trying to import forever. We've already checked and all the services are running, the only errors we've found on the log were:

'Qlik.Sense.Common.Exceptions.EntityNotFoundException' was thrown.; App: The item does not exist in the database.

'Qlik.Sense.Common.Exceptions.ValidationFailedException' was thrown.; AppStatus.app: The repository detected an invalid property of the following type: app with NonExisting GuID

Have looking for a while and have no idea what is going on, any help will be very much appreciate it.

Best regards,

Andrés

I would try running a repair on your install.

Check with the app location[Path] is correct or not?

We've restarted all the services and that was not the problem. We've already see that the app is imported on the server folder, but the process never ends on the qmc apparently because some metadata sync error with the internal QS database. Still have no idea of how to solve it.

Cheers,

Andrés

Hi Andres,

What QS Desktop and QS versions are you using for development/deployment?

Hi, both the server and the Desktop are the same 3.0.1.

Hi James, we didn't want to repair until we understood what was going on. Unfortunatly we couldn't figure it out so the repair option seems to be the only way (not happy with not knowing what was the issue but now is working fine)

Cheers,

Andrés
