Change Tooltip - label for Totals

Hello Community,

Wondering if anyone knows how to change the label for totals on the tooltip.

This shows up on a stack bar chart when hovering over the dimension label.  As you can see on the image below the dimension I am stacking on has values 'Positive' and 'Negative' so having the default total label as 'Sum of Positives' is misleading.

Here's the outcome of the ticket with Qlik Support:

R&D has investigated the issue and come to the below conclusion:

"For a stack bar chart, there is a case when we have both positive bars and negative bars. So the tooltip would show both sum of positive bars and sum of negative bars.

The problem here is the words "positive" and "negative" are also used as values of Dim1 field.

If "total" is used as a value of Dim1 field then we will have the same problem."

R&D has declared this issue to be working as designed, so there are no other suggestions. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Depends on the QS version you are using. If it is April 2020, Tooltips are easily controlled:

If it is an older version you could rename the dimension.

Unfortunately using the Custom tooltip doesn't fix the problem. That hardcoded label for totals shows up when hovering the label of the stack dimension

So it looks like this is the expected behavior.  I had the same issue, in one of my analytics I was doing a sum on a field called "Positive" so it looked ok there just by chance.  I noticed it when creating a new analytic with a stacked bar and saw the label was still "Sum of positives".  I thought something was cached or similar but now I'm starting to think this is how it works.  Also agree that changing the tooltip options does nothing.  I have a case open currently on this so I'll update if I get a resolution.
