Change data type of field incorrectly identified as date

Hi,

I have loaded data from a field with values such as '01-01-01',  and it is actually a string used to identify categories. Qlik has incorrectly loaded this field as a date.

Is there a way to load this field as a string?

Hi,

You can try this, By putting

text(date field) as datefield might help you.
