Connecting access db to qliksense

I have an issue with connecting my access database to qlik sense,

I tried the normal way and it did not seem to work. Some users suggested that i go through "Microsoft Office 12.0 access database engine OLE DB Provider" , i tried that and i get an error. Im not sure what im doing wrong: path? the error states that the file is not present or open by another user?

Update: so i was able to fix this, apparently what i did wrong was downloading the wrong version of access database engine for my laptop (32 bit Instead of the 64 bit). Which by the way you have to have in order to connect to an ODBC database through qliksense. If you did that same mistake You have to uninstall the 32bit version and redownload the 64 bit one. It worked well after that i was able to go to ODBC in my computer to system and add ms access as a data source.

Details on what you have done?  What version of QS?  Did you try it in Data Manager or in script?

32 or 64 bit ODBC?

Desktop or Server?  If on Server, be sure ODBC drivers and connection are defined on the Server...

I created the app, went through the data manager, clicked on create connection. I read online that access databases have to be uploaded through OLE DB connection ( i am pretty new to the Platform, and im using it in french so my terms can be a bit different ) after selecting the OLE DB connection i get a page to insert the path, a username, password. I can't get through the username/password section as i don't know which i have to insert. I tried everything that comes to mind with no result.

What version of QS are you using? It seems working well.
