Hello, This is an interesting issue. Can you confirm the service account you are using in the Connector to Apache Hive has access to Apache Hive? The next thing I would check is to make sure that port 88 was open between Qlik Sense and your Kerberos Identity Provider, and Apache Hive instance and your Kerberos Identity Provider.
You need to generate keytab file , copy the file in VM where enterprise is installed and use ODBC connector in the windows. Upload the keytab , feed the realm name and user domain and test the connections. It should be a success.
