Creating Buttons without Extensions

Hi,

I need to know how to create a button which -performs the conversion of thousands to millions without any extensions.

For ex: if I click on that button the values present in xxx k to x.x M

As far I know, there is no way by using out default tools/options. However, I might be wrong and maybe another person has any ideas to do so.

Another not as buttonish approach is to create a data island field containing the different values you need and then present the selection option as a filterbox.
