Creating a reload task

Hi Qlik community,

I'm evaluating Qlik Sense. I've created a sheet and imported data from a database. I'm trying to figure out how to schedule loads of new data since the last load. This guide explains the process (I think), but step 2 ins't available in the UI. There's no option to create tasks anywhere I can find. Please help!

Are you using Qlik Sense Destop ou Qlik Sense Business (cloud)?

* The guide you are using is for Qlik Sense Enterprise

We are using trying to test what we want to do in the trial version....so Qlik Sense Business(cloud)....Can you auto reload data in the trial cloud version?

Oh, then you should use this guide.

But basically, after you develop your app, find it in Home, click the ellipsis button (the one with "..."), select schedule reload, and choose from the available options.

Wow! I feel dumb now. Haha! We were totally looking in the wrong spot. Is it possible to make custom reload schedules? Say, if I wanted to make it more real time.... reloading every 5 minutes or smaller?

No. Highest frequency is 1 hour.

Also be aware that QS Business has two reload limitations:

- Scheduled data reload concurrency = 3

- Scheduled data reloads per day = 50

Thank you for the information! Do any of the other Olik Sense versions have customizable reload times, such as the enterprise version?

In Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows for sure you can setup the frequency as high as 1 minute.

In Qlik Sense Enterprise SaaS, I'm not 100% sure, but I suppose it's the same as Qlik Sense Business.
