I am having issues with my data load. I have an app that has an established REST connection to a SharePoint site. I have the load script set to dump a QVD file nightly into a folder for a historical copy. The historical copies override until the end of the month, leaving me with 1 for each month. I'm now trying to add an additional sheet to the app using the last 2 months of QVD files and then have them compared to show any new line items.
When I use a load script and try to qualify, it gives me way too many fields. Without qualifying it gives me nothing but synthetic keys because all of the data has the same fields, just different months.
Is there a way to have Qlik load the last 2 months files, compare them and then drop the line items that are the same, leaving me with a new table of only the new items?
I will also need to have Qlik compare a status column to show if any changes were made from one file to the other.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
