Data doesn't export as numbers

Hi,

How can I get the data in my table to export to excel in a number format (I want to use autosum when in Excel)?

Right now the data is opened with the format 'General' in excel and it doen't seem like I can change it.

Thanks!

Hello,

try to call your measure with num() function.  Num( Sum(Sales) ).

If it is Qlik Sense , Num function won't work on export.

Format your expression measure (right menu) in NUMBER .

If Data is a DIMENSION, you can for one moment change this in MEASURE (without sum(DATA) or other aggregations) and formatting this field like picture

Thanks for your input!

Yes it is very basic one and we all know this but when self service will come , every time client need to do it to set the number format to avoid this, we must bring the expression out as we donot need to change it.

I had put the value as a normal dimension, when changing it to a measure and also editing the number formatting it worked.

Thank you all!
