Data not updating from excel file

Qlik Sense Desktop not updating data

Data is in excel files.  When the data is updated, the data load editor does not pick up the new data.

How are you updating the data? Adding more rows or more excel spreadsheets?

If you are adding more rows it should work.

No new rows.

It is a GL file for a P & L.

Same rows, just updated information

I mean it's hard to say. What kind of information is not picking up? Can you share some example data?

If you are exporting this data from an excel file and when you read it the first time maybe it was in a certain format, and after you edited the excel file it changed the format of the columns?
