1. Concatenate the data sets on top of each other.
2. Look to create composite keys if you can combining non-unique fields to make them unique ie you might not have a Common Customer ID but perhaps
Customer Name &'|'& Customer Zip Code as Customer Key
might yield some associations.
3. rename fields with the same content to align in your fact.
4. type your datasets for easy extraction by set analysis.
5. handle all your dates via a date link and master calendar.
your data model is starting to look stary 🙂
