Date picker won't detect date field

Hi

I have a date field that I've loaded through the script editor using Date(eventDate). It comes from a SQL database where eventDate is already a date format. However, the date picker doesn't detect it. I also ran the eventDate under the autoCalendar

Could you share screenshots of the autocalendar script that you are using? 

Maybe we can use that to identify in case something is going wrong.

If your date field has values in the very distant future or very distant past, you may need to manually tag it as $date to be able to use the date picker.
